Out of an abundance of caution, the City of Sumter Offices and parks will remain closed tomorrow Thursday, January 23, 2025. Thursday Sanitation Service customers will have their trash picked up on Sunday, January 26, 2025. A reminder to Wednesday customers, please have your trash out on Saturday, January 25, 2025. As always, please have your trash bins out on the curb by 7am.

Out of an abundance caution for the anticipated winter weather, the City of Sumter offices will be closed on today, Wednesday, January 22 and reopen on tomorrow, Thursday, January 23, 2025 with a delayed schedule.
Please note, Wednesday sanitation services are postponed until Saturday, January 25. Remember to place your trash bins out by 7 AM!
