Parking at the Iris Festival

As you plan your visit, be sure to check out the available parking options at the festival. Please note,  if you are a frequent visitor to the gardens, that some parking areas at the gardens may have different layouts and availability. Convenient parking lots A, E-2, and F are open to all visitors, and the best part is that parking is free throughout the festival!

    • Liberty Street Field Between Alice Boyle Garden Center & Dentist Office (846 W. Liberty Street)
  • Parking Lot C:
    • Swan Lake Shot Pouch Greenway Parking Lot (9 Bland Avenue)
  • Parking Lot E-1:
    • Garden Street Vendor Parking Lot (150 Garden Street)*
VISITOR PARKING - OPEN TO ALL:

    • Swan Lake Iris Gardens Main Entrance Parking Lot (822 W. Liberty Street)
  • Parking Lot E-2:
    • Garden Street Parking Lot (150 Garden Street)*
  • Parking Lot F:
    • Sumter County Civic Center Parking Lot (700 Liberty Street)* This parking area has a FREE shuttle to and from the festival. Parking Lot F has the shortest wait times and easiest access for all. Shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

ALL PARKING IS FREE

Santee Wateree RTA logo

Santee Wateree Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) will be running free Shuttle Buses to and from the festival, with stops at the following locations, Friday 10 am - 6 pm, Saturday 10am - 6 pm and Sunday 10 am -5 pm: 

  1. Civic Center/Parking Lot F
  2. Swan Lake Visitors Center/Parking Lot A
  3. Swan Lake Garden Street Gate
  4. Swan Lake Garden Street Parking Lot E2

All RTA shuttles are wheelchair accessible.


Parking in a private business parking lot is generally not advised unless you are a customer or employee of that business, as it can be considered trespassing if you park there without permission, and you may face consequences like being towed or receiving a citation depending on the property owner's policies and local laws.
