Selena R. Smith

Lieutenant Selena Smith is a native of Mayesville and began her firefighting career as a volunteer. Lieutenant Smith became a career firefighter in 2008. Lieutenant Smith served in operations as a firefighter before being promoted to the CRR division. Lieutenant Smith is an alum of Kaplan University (Bachelor’s Degree), and Columbia Southern (Master’s Degree).
Selena was commissioned as Deaconess for the United Methodist Church in 2012. Her ministry is Fire Safety in places of worship. Selena is a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ," Galatians 3:28 is Selena’s favorite scripture.
