City Shares Initial Housing Report
The purpose of the study is to analyze the housing market in Sumter and recommend ways to overcome identified gaps and barriers.
- Identify housing supply/demand balance,
- Identify gaps and barriers, and
- Recommend policy and implementation actions steps to address identified gaps and barriers.
The following was presented at a public meeting on Thursday, February 7 at Swan Lake Visitors Center.
The city's consulting firm, RKG, is currently working on strategies and recommendations and has projected that the completion for the final plan will be in May 2019.
