Vacant Property Program
A property is considered “vacant” if it has not been lawfully inhabited for at least 60 consecutive calendar days. Properties must be registered within 30 calendar days after becoming vacant (i.e., within 90 calendar days after the last day the property was lawfully inhabited). An owner that fails to register a vacant property shall be fined in the amount of $250 for each month that the owner fails to register such property.
