UPDATE: February 1, 2026 | 12:50 PM Due to ice and hazardous road conditions, City of Sumter offices will be closed on Monday, February 2, and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. All City parks and gardens will be closed on Monday and Tuesday to ensure the safety of our staff and the public. Residential sanitation services will operate on a delayed schedule on Monday. Commercial sanitation services will be suspended for the day. Collection times may vary, and residents should leave roll carts at the curb.
