American Red Cross Babysitter's Training Program

Cost: $100 or military $80

Program Overview: 

The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training Program is designed to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and get certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR. This training is designed for youths ages 11 to 15, but we will train ages 10 to 16.

The Babysitter's Training course is designed to be taught a minimum of 6 hours, 30 minutes. Students who successfully attend all sessions and complete the course will receive a printable Babysitter's Training certificate that is good for 2 years. Additionally, students who attend all sessions and successfully pass the exam for a Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification will receive a printable Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificate that is good for 2 years.
